This is a 1157 bulb with the contacts on the base as 2 "+" and the case is "-". One contact is low brightness and the other is high brightness, like in a taillight for a car. It has crisp color and no heat. It is also great for brake lights. The standard light bulb socket base can be used anywhere a regular 1157 bulb was. The pins are offset.
